At Horyzon, we believe your financial data is yours alone. We built this app to give you intelligent insights into your wealth — not to monetize your portfolio data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect information necessary to provide and improve our services:

• Account Data: You can use Horyzon without creating an account. If you choose to sign in (via Sign in with Apple or Google), we collect only the basic identifier information needed to sync your data across devices.
• Financial Portfolio Data: To generate insights, you input assets, holdings, and transactions. This data is stored securely and used solely to provide you with portfolio tracking and AI-powered analysis. We do not sell this data to hedge funds, brokerages, advertisers, or any third party.
• Device & Usage Data: We collect anonymized diagnostic data and crash reports (via Sentry) to maintain app stability. We also use Firebase Analytics for aggregated, anonymized usage metrics.
• Widget Data: If you use Home Screen or Lock Screen widgets, portfolio summary data is stored locally on your device via App Groups. This data never leaves your device.

2. Artificial Intelligence & Your Data

Horyzon uses AI models from Google (Gemini) and OpenAI as a fallback to provide personalized portfolio analysis and insights.

• Minimal Data Sharing: We send only the minimum required portfolio data to these AI providers via secure, encrypted API connections.
• No Model Training: Your financial data is never used to train public AI models. Both Google and OpenAI process data under enterprise-grade data processing agreements that prohibit using customer inputs for model training.
• On-Device First: Rule-based insights (diversification checks, concentration warnings) run locally on your device without any data leaving it.

3. How We Share Your Information

We are not a data broker. We share data only with trusted infrastructure partners strictly necessary to operate the app:

• Cloud & Authentication: Google Cloud / Firebase for secure, encrypted data storage and authentication.
• Market Data: TwelveData provides real-time and historical market prices. We send asset ticker symbols only — never your portfolio balances, personal information, or transaction history.
• Subscriptions: RevenueCat and Apple process premium subscriptions. Payment details are handled entirely by Apple — we never see your credit card information.
• Error Monitoring: Sentry receives anonymized crash reports containing no financial data.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if legally required by a valid court order or subpoena.

4. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest to protect your data. We retain your personal and financial information only for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account through the app's settings, your data is permanently removed from our active databases within 30 days.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (including California under CCPA, the EU/EEA under GDPR, Turkey under KVKK, and the UK under UK GDPR), you have rights regarding your data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Delete your account and associated data directly from Settings within the app, or by contacting us.
• Data Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from any marketing communications at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

Horyzon is not directed at anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Welcome to Horyzon. By accessing or using our iOS application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Not Financial Advice

Horyzon is a financial tracking and information tool — not a registered investment advisor, broker, or fiduciary. All AI-generated insights, health scores, diversification analyses, and portfolio recommendations are for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute professional financial, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. Always conduct your own research or consult a licensed professional before buying or selling assets.

2. AI Disclaimer

Horyzon uses Artificial Intelligence (including models from Google Gemini and OpenAI) to analyze your portfolio and generate insights. While we strive for accuracy, AI can produce errors or inaccurate information. You agree to independently verify any data, analysis, or suggestions provided by the AI before acting on them. Horyzon is not responsible for investment decisions made based on AI-generated content.

3. Market Data Accuracy

Portfolio values, asset prices, and market data displayed in Horyzon are provided by third-party data providers and may be delayed or inaccurate. Horyzon does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data. Do not rely solely on Horyzon for time-sensitive trading decisions.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Horyzon offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Horyzon Pro") available as monthly or yearly plans. Subscriptions are processed and managed entirely through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you also agree to Apple's terms for in-app purchases. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings under Subscriptions.

5. Account & Data

You may use Horyzon without creating an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication credentials. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time through the app's Settings menu. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Horyzon for any illegal activities or to track illegally acquired assets.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.
• Attempt to bypass, overload, or abuse our AI infrastructure, APIs, or usage limits.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access Horyzon's services.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

7. Intellectual Property

The Horyzon app, its original content, features, UI design, and functionality are owned by Horyzon and protected by international copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the app without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Horyzon and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, investment losses, or data loss resulting from your use of the app or reliance on its insights. In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid for Horyzon Pro in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

Horyzon is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or our website. Your continued use of Horyzon after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
